Gartner for Supply Chain Officers, Large Enterprise Account Executive

Gartner for Supply Chain is looking for a growth-focused Account Executive to join its high-performing team. Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) are tasked with driving growth in challenging environments, and Gartner equips them with the necessary data and insights.

In 2024, CSCOs will be crucial in managing revenue risks, meeting growth expectations, and handling cost management effectively. Almost half of CEOs have identified growth as their top priority, highlighting the importance of CSCOs in achieving this goal.

Our Account Executives engage with C Level stakeholders in Large Enterprise organizations, with responsibilities for both retention and upselling. They are compensated for both renewals and new business.

What you'll do as an Account Executive:
  • Quota of approximately $1.2m USD in contract value, managing 10 – 20 large enterprise accounts
  • Retain and grow existing clients
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success to drive high-value engagement
  • Conduct client meetings throughout the year to review ROI and align with priorities
  • Drive outbound activity to generate new opportunities consistently
  • Work with C-Level executives to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Guide customer satisfaction, account retention, and growth
  • Own forecasting and account planning on a regular basis
  • Contribute best practices, collaboration, and positive influence within the team
What you'll need:
  • Minimum of 5 years' B2B sales experience in complex sales environments
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling to and influencing C-level executives
  • Aptitude for managing and forecasting complex sales processes
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA
Progression within Account Executive Roles:
  • Monthly review and goal-setting sessions with managers
  • Common internal promotions to Senior Account Executive, Team Lead, or Sales Manager
  • All Sales Managers and Team Leads are internally hired and promoted
