  • Looking for a Finance Assistant with SaaS sector experience:
  • Basic salary for part time hours £21k per annum (3 days per week).
  • Remote based role.
  • Part-time 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
  • Hours 9am-5.30pm, however, flexibility on hours.

Broad Core Responsibilities:

  • Management of the day-to-day accounting records using QuickBooks.
  • Bookkeeping including transactional reconciling and posting journals.
  • Month end management pack completion, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Sales invoicing, sales ledger and contract management.
  • Purchase ledger, posting invoices and coding transactions.
  • Bank payments for suppliers, payroll and expenses.
  • VAT return completion.
  • Payroll and HMRC administration.
  • Compliance - support on accounts preparation, tax pack preparation, R&D claim.
  • Ad hoc reporting, query support, clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Client and supplier liaison on invoicing matters.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Previous experience of customer invoicing for a SaaS B2B business.

  • Knowledge of accounting concepts and bookkeeping.
  • Hold a relevant accounting qualification or in the process of obtaining one (AAT / CIMA).
  • Experience with B2B SaaS sales contracts and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Previous experience of customer invoicing for a SaaS B2B business.
  • Experience recording and releasing deferred income.
  • Comfortable with Bank payment runs including suppliers and payroll.
  • Experienced with management accounts preparation.
  • Used to working with accounting software (ideally QuickBooks).
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
  • Happy to work remotely.
