Working alongside a renowned company with a strong international presence, this role seeks an Infrastructure Project Manager to join their London team. This opportunity offers an initial 2-year fixed term contract that may lead to permanent placement.
The Project Manager will take charge of overseeing the full spectrum of infrastructure implementation for a Case Management System (CMS), involving meticulous planning, coordination, and supervision of all technical aspects to ensure a smooth and effective deployment.
Key Deliverables:
- Oversee the infrastructure setup for the Case Management System.
- Establish project scope, objectives, and outcomes in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for flawless project execution.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate methods.
- Evaluate project performance using relevant tools and techniques.
- Provide necessary reports and escalate issues to management.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments to mitigate project uncertainties.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as required.
- Collaborate with IT team to integrate the new CMS with existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security measures, and regulations.
- Lead project teams to meet quality standards and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Preferred certification in Project Management Professional (PMP).
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing Case Management Systems or similar.
- Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and databases.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure solutions is advantageous.
- Effective problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
