Our Application Processing Team currently handle the first stages of the Operations process, from receiving the proposal through to issuing a final decision and preparing documents for the customer to sign.

As a Team Leader you will be required lead and develop new and existing team members as well as provide valuable input on process improvement and refinement within the team.


Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day line management responsibility of the Application Processing team including; holiday and absence management, return to work interviews, conducting one to one reviews and performance management.
  • Ensure quality and performance goals are achieved through coaching initiatives and process improvements.
  • Developing the people within your team by providing structured goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and develop departmental systems, processes and controls in order to promote operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring service levels and volume by utilising statistics generated from our reporting systems along with accurate analysis of these statistics.
  • Manage staff rotas in line with forecast and allocate workload appropriately through team schedules.
  • Ensure the team maintains a positive morale and work ethic in line with our company values and culture.
  • Recruitment responsibilities such as conducting interviews and training of additional team members when necessary.
  • Continued development by identifying new opportunities to improve processes, systems and procedures.
  • To establish and maintain an effective working relationship and strong links with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Remain up to date on changes to company processes and objectives through regular interaction with line manager.
