We have partnered with an accountancy firm with offices based nationwide who are currently looking for a Payroll Associate to join their offices in each location.

This is a great opportunity to progress in your careers as there is a lot of room for growth and development.


Responsibilities:

  • An understanding of current PAYE and NIC legislation that affects payroll.
  • Ensure all starters, leavers, benefits, and allowances information is entered on to the payroll database and update the relevant spreadsheet to record all entries made
  • Calculate leavers pay when leaving midmonth
  • Calculation of statutory payments
  • Process P45 forms
  • Print and sort payslips for distribution
  • Run payroll reports
  • Ensure monthly salary payment for client payrolls are transferred to the correct accounts in a timely manner
  • Completion of return of expenses and benefits forms P11D and P11D(b)
  • Respond to client queries regarding payroll in a professional and timely manner
  • Deal with HMRC correspondence enquiries
  • Maintain an uptodate client status schedule
  • Deal with general administrative duties, as requested

Requirements:

  • 6 months plus experience
  • Studying towards a professional qualification (CIPP)
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Confident and competent in dealing with clients
  • Have a working knowledge of MS Office
