Meet our service user

Our service user is a bubbly little girl who lives with his family in Colchester, she requires support throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.

She likes to play interactive games on her iPad with her parents, listening to music and bringing out her inner artist with her colouring books. She also loves watching TV and Netflix, one of her favourite programmes to watch is Paw Patrol.

To express her feelings and indicate his wants and needs she uses various facial expressions and sounds. It is important that you can understand and interpret her communication to avoid her becoming distressed or frustrated.

Throughout the night you will be required to attend to her complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, moving & handling, repositioning, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night's sleep.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience Personal Care Moving and Handling Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

PEG Feeding Tracheostomy Care

We have the following shifts available;

Part Time Nights 7pm – 6am Weekends Only (Sat or Sun) 1-2 Shifts Per Week

Take a look at our pay rates

Saturday : £15.00 per hour (£165 approx. per 11hr shift)

Sunday : £15.00 per hour (£165 approx. per 11hr shift)

Bank Holiday : £17.00 per hour (£187 approx. per 11hr shift)
