Job description:

Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a young girl with her complex care needs.


We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.


During the day with you will be assisting at school and throughout the night you will be supporting at her home address, where you will encourage a restful sleep, ensure her comfort, and carry out regular repositioning.


Our service user is a bubbly little girl who requires support on a 1:1 basis during the day and night.

She enjoys drawing and listening to music and also playing games on her iPad with her Mom and Dad.

When at home she likes to watch TV, especially Paw Patrol and Netflix while cuddling her toy bunny.

Our ideal applicant will have experience of working within a similar role with children or young adults.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
  • Ventilation Management
  • Oral Suctioning

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Part Time Days
  • Part Time Nights
  • 7.30am 4pm minimum 2 shifts per weel
  • 7pm 6am 2 shifts per week
  • Must be flexible to cover days and nights

Weekdays :
£12.00 per hour (£122 approx per shift)

Weeknights :
£12.50 per hour(£125 approx per shift)

Saturday :
£13.00 per hour(£130 approx per shift)

Sunday :
£14.00 per hour (£140 approx per shift)

Bank Holiday :
£16.50 per hour(£165 approx per shift)

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional support to our service user and really making an impact on her day to day life.
