Across our key sectors – Water, Power, Energy and Aggregates, and supported through our regional office network supported by our manufacturing hub located in the heart of Somerset which forms part of our 60,000ft head office complex – we deliver diverse and interesting projects and programmes throughout UK infrastructure.
Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
The RolenDue to increasing workload, we are looking for an additional project planner to join us on a full time and permanent basis.
The role will predominantly be working withing the Water Industry, however you will also get exposure to some other key partners.
This is contracted to 40/week Monday to Friday.Work offer a hybrid working model, with flexible working available (to be discussed with line manager).
ResponsibilitiesnDevelop detailed, contractually compliant project schedules that take into account all aspects of the project.nSet baselines, assign resources, monitor progress and adjust the project plan accordingly.nWork collaboratively with the internal / external stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.nIdentify and manage project dependencies, risks, and critical path.nConduct resource planning and levelling.nReport project performance to key stakeholders.
RequirementsnEssentialnNEC contract / programme knowledge / experience.n5+ years in a project controls environment, with detailed experience within project scheduling and resource allocation.nP6 or MS projects experience.nAbility to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
