Role Purpose:
To provide high quality care of the children within our nurseries, whilst supervising and assistant children at mealtimes.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote positive relationships in the early years' setting.
  • Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of the children.
  • To take responsibility alongside the Nursery Management Team for the safety, security and wellbeing of all children, staff and visitors at all times.
  • To ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • To ensure that all special dietary requirements are adhered to.
  • To assist children with their lunches where necessary e.g. cutting up food, spoon feeding or providing second helpings.
  • To meet the physical needs of children; encouraging good standards of personal hygiene and assisting children where necessary e.g. hand washing, toileting etc.
  • To assist with setting up and clearing lunches and to take on any cleaning duties needed in respect of the lunchtime period.
  • Job Type: Parttime all year around
