More about your role

You will motivate and instruct students to nationally or Centre recognised standards, within the subject that you teach. You will provide a professional and high quality service to the students.

You will plan each lesson and devise a scheme of work to deliver a comprehensive, creative and enjoyable course for your students.

All of our tutors are required to be self motivated, and responsible for the subject they deliver, this includes keeping up to date with your Industry practices and seeking out new and interesting subject areas to teach to your classes.

More about you

You will be a competent teacher with experience in teaching sewing and needlework, this can be either Dressmaking and/or Patchwork & Quilting. We are looking for a tutor to teach both areas, but there is potentially 2 roles available; one in each area. A proven record of teaching Adults from beginners to the more advanced is preferable.

You will have excellent knowledge of needlework within your field, and be able to draw on your knowledge to demonstrate and highlight different techniques to students.

Proficient yourself, you will be able to personally demonstrate the different needlework techniques available and help students to create the best pieces possible.

You will maintain high standards of personal presentation and be proud to teach others and watch them grow.
