Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex

Salary:
£10.00 per hour upwards - depending on positions

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

THE JOB:


As a warehouse/Distribution Centre Team Member/Warehouse Operative and Picker you will be a part of a team taking responsibility for the Distribution Centre and all areas associated with this.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Accurate picking and packing goods in preparation for distribution to customers.
  • Safe loading and unloading of Pallets
  • Rework activities.
  • Maintenance of a clean and tidy work place.
  • Ensure best practice in place to ensure staff safety comes first.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are in place and maintained.
  • Training and guidance provided.
  • Wear correct PPE, Hivis jacket and Safety footwear on site at all times.

THE PERSON:

  • Must be physically fit due to nature of work.
  • Fit and able to life move goods.
  • Able to demonstrate relevant experience in similar environment.
  • Accurate picking and packing of products, using pick notes and scanners.
  • Using the shrink wrapping machine to wrap pallets.
  • Reworking pallets.
