I am currently recruiting for a pastoral administrator for a large secondary academy in east Manchester.
The role is initially required on a temporary basis from as soon as possible until February 2023 in the first instance.
The Role
Pastoral Administrator and Secondary Student Services Support
Five days a week am to 3.15pm
The role includes
Supporting the pastoral care team
Contacting parents and carers as required.
Help maintain manual and computerised records on the SIMS system.
Provide pupil data and assessment reports from SIMS as required
Prepare other documents or data required for meetings.
Support the school's safeguarding systems (CPOMS) and disseminate issues to the appropriate staff
First Aid qualifications and ability to act as a First Aider would be beneficial
Experience as a pastoral administrator, head of year, attendance administrator or other similar school administrator role is desirable

a minimum of six week's experience of working with students aged 11 to 16 supported by references
Experience of working in a school office using SIMS
Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
