Smart Teachers are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in reception who is awaiting their professional SEN diagnosis.


About the role:

  • Supporting a child in reception who is believed to have ASD, but is yet to receive their professional diagnosis.
  • Role will be supporting the child inside and outside of the classroom, helping them maintain concentration in class and supporting them during lunchtime.
  • Looking for a Teaching Assistant who can set consistent expectations at all times
  • Working hours are
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential

Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Hold enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Experience working with SEN children preferred but not essential
