StoreLab started with two beliefs

  • Small & medium businesses should have the same opportunities within that future as the bigger companies.
So, we created a more accessible entry point to make (and help people make) mobile apps for Shopify stores.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled QA Tester to join our Product and Engineering team.

As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive manual testing, implementing test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with testing frameworks, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


About You:

  • You have excellent problemsolving and analytical thinking abilities, coupled with attention to detail.
  • You thrive in a collaborative and fastpaced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Mentoring and leadership qualities are part of your strengths, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge and guiding junior team members, sharing testing best practices, and promoting a culture of quality within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain manual test frameworks tailored for web and mobile testing to validate the integrity of software functionalities, performance, and user experience.
  • Execute comprehensive manual tests, analyse test results, and document defects, complete with reproducible steps.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers and product managers to clarify requirements, offer constructive feedback, and ensure consensus on quality objectives.
  • Recognise avenues for process enhancement, propose innovative solutions, and actively contribute to the continual refinement of the QA function

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin) and API testing.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and meticulousness in test case design and defect reporting.

Bonus if you have:

  • Genuine interest in appcommerce, knowledge in ecommerce
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and GitLab.
