Junior Marketing & Communications Manager

Salary:
£46k maximum depending on experience.

The Small Business Charter (SBC) is an accreditation celebrating top-tier business schools in the UK and Ireland that showcase excellence and impact in supporting small businesses, student entrepreneurship, and local economies.

Join our team and play a key role in planning, creating, and sharing a variety of communications for the Small Business Charter 10th Anniversary year. This includes event marketing, website content, social media, and database management.

Your content delivery and communications strategy will drive engagement with stakeholders, parliamentarians, and members towards the new vision of the Small Business Charter. You will also highlight the positive influence of our accredited business schools on SMEs and economic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the 10th Anniversary by raising awareness and engaging target audiences
  • Create compelling campaign content and manage the brand effectively
  • Develop case studies and thought leadership materials in written and video formats
  • Collaborate with team members to handle data and communications for engagement activities
  • Update the Small Business Charter website with engaging and relevant content consistently
  • Work with the Campaign Head to implement the communications plan and coordinate activities with other teams
More responsibilities include:
  • Market the series of Small Business Charter 10th Anniversary events
  • Manage email marketing and invitation campaigns for multiple stakeholder events
  • Craft content for event web pages and manage them on the website CMS
  • Collaborate with the Digital Communications Officer and designers for additional marketing assets
  • Utilize CRM database for segmented marketing campaigns
  • Ensure proper management and optimization of the stakeholder database for engagement
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance data including Google Analytics and social media metrics
  • Support business schools with event marketing assets and network marketing efforts
