What We Need :

2K is looking for a Manager, Global Brand Marketing to join its Core Games Team working with the Hangar 13 portfolio of projects, and future studio projects as assigned. Reporting to the Director, Global Brand Marketing, the Manager will play a valuable role in supporting the development and execution of insights-driven marketing strategies that drive acquisition, engagement, and monetization opportunities for our products. The ideal candidate will have experience contributing to and executing against blockbuster entertainment strategies and have exposure to live service products in gaming. From a place of both art and science the ideal candidate must enjoy working collaboratively to help create innovative marketing programs with cross-functional publishing teams, development teams, and external agencies based on key consumer insights and established KPIs for the businesses. This role requires someone who is adept at flexing between supporting strategy and a doer who can operate at a tactical level, having the mastery of the subject matter to get the job accomplished, and the collaborator who knows when to call the experts, bringing the right people in at the right time. Building relationships both within and across the team is critical, as well as balancing partnerships and challenging the status quo.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the development of the marketing strategy as needed, defining customer journeys, target audience prioritization, product positioning, brand partnership guidelines and activations, cross sell and upsell strategies, innovative ideas and key messaging and content plans.
  • Partner with and consult product development teams to ensure products are positioned well and set up for market success.
  • Support live service marketing and player engagement strategies via integrated dev, analytics, marketing, and regional collaboration efforts.

Insight Driven, Channel Optimized and Innovative Content Planning:

  • In collaboration with Director and Cross-Functional partners, help define and initiate development and trafficking of all core brand creative from key art and packaging to trailers and events
  • Build content plans that deliver to players the right message, at the right time and right place, taking care of the conversion and brand channels messaging equally. Every touch point matters.
  • Be a master at overall brief writing, distilling out all the noise to get to the single-minded proposition/story or ask
  • Support the management of the brand marketing budget; Track and report on expenditures for the business to Director, Global Brand Marketing

Optimization, Collaboration and Communication:

  • Manage key relationships across time zones with internal stakeholders in various cross-functional teams to ensure full team collaboration
  • Assess campaign performance assisting in leading marketing collaboration processes that evaluate our metrics, flagging opportunities / risks and driving solutions that foster continued positive player relationships, as well as business targets.
  • Dive into business performance analysis and the trends of the ever-evolving game / entertainment industries, finding ways to grow mind share and player engagement

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five years of marketing or product management experience in gaming or entertainment.
  • Bring an organized approach with an ability to both manage a busy campaign schedule yourself but also help structure and organize other key partners
  • Have contributed to planning and executing creative marketing programs on blockbuster entertainment/gaming brands
  • You are a team player and love collaborating with others to come up with creative ideas and solutions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where teams must be rallied to act and learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill with ability to have influence and impact within a matrix organization both across departments and across geographies. Ability to create rapport and create impact.
  • Proactive project owner, a critical thinker and problem solver championing the goal posts, and ensuring the team delivers together is a cohesive and timely manner.
