Who are Bird & Blend tea co?


Bird & Blend was set up and is run by Krisi and Mike, who met whilst studying Politics (of all things) at university.

Starting off packing tea in their bedroom and attending markets, building Bird & Blend from scratch while staying true to our ethos and values has been Krisi and Mike's passion.

Now with an awesome team, multiple retail stores & a thriving international online store, Bird & Blend is leading the way in tea innovation in the UK.

About this role:


This is an exciting new position in the Brand team, perfect for a budding brand marketer who is passionate about community experiences & social marketing, at the early stage of their career.


As our Brand & CommuniTEA Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for helping to bring our brand activities to life across a range of touchpoints, reporting in to our Brand Marketing Manager.

Customers are at the heart of our brand, and so a major part of this role will be to interact with our various customer communities across digital channels and the real world, to help create moments of surprise & delight and to bring customer insights to our planning.


As the main brand voice within our Brew SocieTEA community group, you will regularly converse with top fans to get their insights, stimulate conversation and help drive hype and engagement for our brand activities, campaigns & product launches.


Over on our main social channels, you will deliver vital community management & engagement by conversing with our followers, and engaging/responding to comments and posts to help create an above-and-beyond social experience.

You will support digital community live events by acting as a moderator for live streams & shopping events.


You will identify great stories coming out of our community channels and ensure these are brought to life across our channels by sharing UGC, quotes and inspiration with the team.

You will contribute ideas & inspiration to our content marketing activities and keep yourself up-to-date on the latest social trends & formats.

You will play a key role in supporting our Creator Programme/Brand Ambassador programme, by:

  • Maintaining our master influencer database, ensuring all personal information, insights and relationship notes are kept up to date.
  • Supporting with guest list and influencer event management (from ideation to execution)
  • Identifying and building relationships with new potential talent; creating a best in class first impression while providing continuity in all comms between brand and talent.
  • Create briefs and liaise with the studio for assets to support relevant send outs, events and activations
You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of brand marketing touchpoints in support of the Brand Marketing Manager & the full Creative Studio through:

  • Supporting PR through supplying images and processing product & sample requests
  • Placing orders for PR, influencer/talent and events directly onto our Shopify order platform. Ensuring accurate data and information as well as checking stock availability & liaising with our fulfilment team for adhoc deliveries when required.
  • Maintaining and accurately recording order information within our internal spreadsheets ensuring accurate cost and financial information for our internal finance teams.
  • Supporting content creation through sourcing props, assisting with styling and providing ad hoc assistance in the studio.
  • Supporting the Brand Marketing Manager with daytoday administrative & support tasks, such as building decks, organising files, ad hoc reporting and collecting printed materials from our suppliers
