Who are Bird & Blend Tea co?


Bird & Blend was set up and is run by Krisi and Mike, who met whilst studying Politics (of all things) at university.

Starting off packing tea in their bedroom and attending markets, building Bird & Blend from scratch while staying true to our ethos and values has been Krisi and Mike's passion.

Now with an awesome team, multiple retail stores & a thriving international online store, Bird & Blend is leading the way in tea innovation in the UK.


What are we looking for?


We are now looking for team members to join our team on a temporary basis, until November 2023 and for the right people we may be able to offer permanent contracts.

This role will be in our Production room, creating all the wonderful Bird & Blend tea products ready for us to head into our busiest time of year hour contracts available with the possibility of additional hours.


What does a Team Member do?
This role will have the benefit of learning skills in our Production department. In Production we'll be busy creating our magical Christmas products.


Weighing up tea, running machinery, assembling packaging, boxing up stock, blending matcha and mastering Sticky Chai - these are just a few of the tasks you'll complete daily.


Full training will be given for this role but possessing the following traits will all be essential: efficiency, competitiveness, organisation, cleanliness & very high standards.


The ideal team member will find the opportunity to join a friendly, growing independent business incredibly exciting and motivating and will be excited about jumping straight in at this busy time.

Normal Operational hours are between 8am and 4.30pm, Sunday

  • Friday, at our Back Ops site "The Nest". Working outside of 'normal' hours will be required as we get closer to the launch of our Christmas product range, this will include weekends and evenings throughout the week.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Creating our wide range of tea, matcha and sticky chai products to a high standard.
  • To work to the set deadlines whilst maintaining our high quality expectations.
  • Drinking TEAlicious cuppas.
  • A general understanding of Health & Safety food hygiene (full training provided).
