Salary:

Daily rates:

  • From £211.54 to £223.08 per day PAYE
  • £280.58 to £295.89 Umbrella company rate

Role of Commercial Contracts Manager:

  • Engaging in pre-tender discussions to advise business areas on existing contract landscape and potential risks in the customer's tender approach.
  • Collaborating with Bids and Commercial teams on tender submissions, managing multiple large opportunities, conducting risk assessments, and submitting clarifications to customers
  • Coordinating, drafting, and submitting tender clarifications and risk summaries to the customer.
  • Negotiating and executing commercial contracts with customers, focusing on risk areas and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Providing guidance on public procurement laws and contractual inquiries from internal departments.
  • Preparing dispute communications, confidentiality agreements, and software licenses.

Your Background:

  • Ideally a qualified commercial contracts lawyer or holding a CCM or CIPS accreditation with contract drafting experience.
  • Excellent contract law knowledge with a history of expertise in high-value complex goods and services.
  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations (PCR2015) and basic understanding of data protection matters.
