What you'll be responsible for:

  • To ensure that all patients' casenotes are prepared and available in advance of the clinic in accordance with procedure
  • To receive patients at reception and ensure that all patient demographic details are update both on HIS and in the casenotes.
  • To book all patient followup appointments in accordance with clinic rules and deal with enquiries from the general public and other disciplines of staff regarding clinic bookings.
  • To be responsible for the recording of all clinic outcomes and other information within agreed deadlines.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


 Microsoft Package skills
  • Outlook, Word, Excel
