Job Title: Global Strategic Analytics (GSA) - Software Developer/Engineer



Location: London



Corporate Title: Associate/Vice President



GSA belongs to the Group Chief Operation Office (COO) acting as the connection between the Bank's operations and infrastructure functions to enhance efficiency, control, and transformation goals.


In this role, you will be part of the Control Strats Team focusing on implementing robust front to back control frameworks for trading activities, particularly concentrating on Model Inventory to centralize model data across regions and types.


The team's mission is to continually enhance the Bank's regulatory compliance efforts across Model Risk Controls, Valuation Controls, Trading Controls, and Client Controls.

Your key responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement front to back control framework focusing on Model Inventory
  • Migrate functionality and data to strategic Model Inventory solution
  • Enhance User Interface (UI) and workflows, and incorporate alerting for Model Inventory
  • Engage with stakeholders and the Bank's strategic system
  • Create more efficient deployment and release processes

Your skills and experience:


  • Proficient in computing, programming, and languages like Python, SQL, and C++
  • Quantitative development and modeling skills in the financial sector are advantageous
  • Experience in User Interfaces, workflows, and data analysis is a plus
  • Strong communication skills across teams and functions
