We are looking to recruit an Mechanical Project Manager to undertake and oversee the design, pricing, tendering, project management, installation and completion of projects across commercial and public sector estates in the North West.

The role is a contract position for circa 8-10 months. 50/hr PAYE (£30/hr CIS/UMB). Monday to Friday. Circa 40 hours per week and expenses paid.

The Mechanical Project Manager will undergo duties below such as:

Lead on multiple M&E Projects on large scale estates - Projects include new works, refurbishments, plant room upgrades and energy/low carbon programs.

Mechanical plant room, HVAC, services and building utilities, solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, Low carbon plant room, boiler and heating systems

Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome.

Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end".
Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, quantity surveying, sub contractor management and site manager duties.

Identify and develop a short/medium and long term pipeline of Project opportunities from the portfolio of customers within the Sector.

Liaise with colleagues managers to determine and identify project opportunities. Full accountability on each project.
Value all sub contractor accounts and make application for payments.
Be involved in the mechanical & electrical design/planning and implementation
Competitively price the works whilst returning expected profit margins.

M&E Project Manager Requirements:
Experienced Project Manager with a background in Mechanical engineering
(also with sound experience of electrical plant room)
Experience of Carbon reduction, energy projects and HVAC/Plant room upgrading
Experience of large scale plant room project works including new builds, refurbishments and upgrades
Grade to grave Project operations
Client facing skills and project generation ability
Ability to quote and work on project documentation
Valid driving license
