About the role
Reporting to the Head of the Tunbridge Wells Office, you will provide support to the Portfolio Managers. If you have intermediate spreadsheet skills, and are personable and willing to learn, then we can teach the rest.

We manage client investments and assets and by providing administrative support to the Portfolio Managers you can build your client handling skills (e.g. inbound queries).

You will be expected to learn to be 1st point of contact for high net worth clients and support them in their needs.


You will assist in the management of our high net worth clients, and help with building better referrer/adviser relationships, along with their investment portfolios.


Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience working with numbers (e.g. in an accounts department, or financial firm).
  • Outstanding attention to detail (our clients expect the best).
  • You like dealing with people and want to build a relationship based career.
  • Intermediate spreadsheet skills (Pivot tables, V:lookups)
  • Enjoy working under pressure and sometimes delivering to tight timescales.
  • Degree educated, or academic enough you had the option of university.
  • Discreet and confidential (this is client money).
  • Able to learn and follow processes and work efficiently.
  • You love the idea that if you learn and work hard, you should progress within 2 years of starting this role.

Accountabilities - _we will teach_**- Provide administrative support to our Portfolio Managers.

  • Manage payment administration, set up new accounts, prepare client documentation.
  • Produce and dispatch valuations and client packs (training given).
  • Prepare investment review letters and monitor portfolios.
  • Ensure all portfolios are updated and set up correctly.
  • Adhere to all compliance procedures (as a regulated firm we value the ability to execute processes to a high quality).
  • Act as a liaison point with other internal departments, ensuring that any problems experienced by clients or the PMs are reported, challenged, or work together to make improvements.
  • Develop skills to handle client queries and build relationships.


We want you to deliver so well in this role within 2 years you will be ready to progress to a Portfolio Management role.
