Christian Action Housing Association was founded in 1966 as a local, church-based response to the need for affordable housing to rent. Christian Action has grown into a vital local provider of accommodation in four North London boroughs and is proud to be a local landlord and business connected to the local community. Christian Action is a diverse, dedicated and friendly team whose mission is to provide high quality, affordable support and services to those in housing need.
Over the last few years Christian Action has been through a significant period of change. In 2020, we welcomed our new CEO and under their leadership the organisation has shifted its focus to centre on our people, culture and performance.
In the past year, Christian Action experienced some regulatory challenges and now under the leadership of our new Chair, board members and executive team, we are invested in and working hard to deliver our recovery plan that will enable Christian Action to deliver the best possible services to our customers.
Integral to our drive to deliver excellence in customer care is the role of Operations Director. The Operations Director will provide inspirational leadership, recognising that our people and service are our biggest asset. You will play a pivotal role in enabling us to deliver quality property, housing and community services to our customers. You will be focused on driving performance with our external partners and ensure Christian Action builds a culture of improvement, to strengthen the great work we do to make a difference in people's lives.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will ensure we keep progressing by driving change whilst embedding robust contract management. You will apply commercial thinking to enable us to achieve exceptional outcomes for our customers.
This role will oversee the whole of our operations function including property services, community services and housing management. We are looking for an inspiring and innovative leader who will bring the passion and energy required to help fulfil Christian Action's strategic aims, deliver our ambitions and regulatory improvements.
