  • Support the FP&A team with a strong focus on the Engineering department, collaborating with business leaders and teams to develop, implement, and monitor financial plans and budgets.
  • Act as an impactful business partner: combine your finance and analytics skills with a deep understanding of business operations and needs to support, guide, and advise management in strategic and operational planning and decision making.
  • Foster strong relationships and partner with the broader FP&A organization, BI and data office team, accounting, and leaders across the business to ensure high data quality standards for business insights and management information. Collaborate together to drive the implementation of meaningful business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
  • Work with business unit analysts and FP&A to pull together individual analysis and insights and provide a global, comprehensive overview for senior leadership decisions on strategic priorities.
  • Define and monitor the trends of KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances, both relating to financial metrics as well as process & performance efficiency.
  • Implement operational procedures to monitor and control engineering-driven costs within projects, investments, and day-to-day expenses, ensuring optimal financial management. Effectively manage IT Opex and Capex budgets, and drive accurate capitalization of development hours.
  • Monitor engineering-driven initiatives, including product development projects and their capitalization.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of AWS (Amazon Web Services) costs and work with engineering teams on optimizing AWS spend.
  • Lead the development of robust financial governance frameworks tailored specifically for agile product development initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analysis on technology investments to ensure they align with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to improved operational efficiency, while also driving a deeper understanding of how digital investments impact the business and lead to better outcomes.
  • Continuously challenging the business's investment decisions and expenditure patterns, demonstrating a deep understanding of vendors utilized by both engineering and IT departments. Implementing a process for continuous monitoring and optimization of software license costs, including regular reviews of usage data, license agreements, and renewal terms.
  • Become a role model and passionate advocate of the FP&A organization, help lifting our organization to the next level.
YOUR PROFILE
  • As an ideal candidate, you bring over 5-6 years of demonstrated experience working in a FP&A role within an international scalable and rapidly growing tech or engineering company, utilizing advanced financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Solid tech background : previous experience in engineering or technical roles, ensuring a deep understanding of engineering concepts, processes, and terminology.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field, Master's degree highly desired.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, demonstrating the ability to efficiently handle complex datasets, perform sophisticated financial modelling, and develop dynamic spreadsheets.
  • Capacity to create and interpret data visualizations to support financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; adept at solving business issues through structured analysis and clear communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a regular basis, without sacrificing the ability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Proactive personality with analytical mindset.
