About the Role As the Goods In Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring the seamless management of all incoming stock, inter-branch transfers, and stock returns. Your primary focus will be maintaining the impeccable condition of the yard and stock storage areas, along with ensuring all stock is accurately received and despatched. This role is more than just oversight; it's about proactively resolving errors with suppliers and training your team to avoid future discrepancies. Collaboration with other Department Managers and the GCOM (centre manager) is key, as you will align on stock requirements and ensure efficient transition of stock to the shop floor.

About You: To excel as a Goods In Manager at Blue Diamond Group, you will:
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Possess experience in a busy goods-in environment, ideally within retail.
  • Be adaptable, ready to handle fluctuating delivery volumes, including additional hours if needed.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Thrive under pressure and maintain a structured goods-in area.
  • Be a natural problem solver with superb prioritisation skills.
  • Have experience managing a team, ensuring consistent meeting of deadlines.
  • Be proficient in standard IT applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferably, be experienced in using a computerised stock management system and have a forklift license (or be willing to obtain one).
