About the Role

As the Compliance Officer, you'll identify and manage energy regulatory compliance risk within the Drax retail supply businesses, a giant within the UK energy industry.

Working in a stable, secure and fast-moving environment, you'll be responsible for embedding a positive culture of compliance, supporting the business by providing advice, interpretation, training and guidance on energy supply regulation.

You will take a pragmatic approach to assessing compliance obligations and associated risks and ensure corrective actions are taken where gaps are identified.

And doing it all to tight deadlines. Do you think you're up to the task?
Your communication and influencing skills will come into their own in this role.

You'll work with colleagues across the business at all levels, reviewing policies and processes to identify and mitigate compliance risk, making recommendations and implementing improvements to ensure good customer outcomes.

In addition, you'll also support our regulatory reporting submissions, incident investigations and the implementation of regulatory change.

Your ability to interrogate multiple complex processes concurrently, identify compliance risks, make recommendations, develop innovative solutions and drive them through to resolution will be key.

Strong stakeholder management and skills would also be beneficial.
