Covering Blackpool, Fleetwood, Lancaster and Morecambe

We have exciting opportunities available on the Work and Health Programme and we are seeking an Outreach Engagement Advisor to join our team.

This role plays a crucial part in collaborating with stakeholders to promote integration within each Local Authority area.

You will closely work with your Local Authority, JobCentre Plus (JCP), and voluntary/ 3rd sector services to increase referrals to the programme.


What you will do as an Outreach Engagement Advisor:

  • Engage with clients through events to raise awareness about the programme.
  • Communicate regularly with JCP Work Coaches and other referral agents.
  • Build connections with local community and health organizations to boost referrals.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new participants, coordinate job fairs and local events to enhance referrals and job outcomes.
  • Offer feedback to JCP colleagues showcasing success stories of progress and outcomes.

Establish and manage relationships with other services that support our participants, such as offender management, housing, skills, and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) providers.

Create a support system to cater to individual participant needs.

What you need as an Outreach Engagement Advisor:

  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person and remotely.
  • Capability to travel within specified areas.
  • Deep understanding of employment services and welfare-to-work programs.
  • Experience in a performance-driven environment.
