We are seeking a Communication Support Officer to support our office based team who are the first point of call for all Taylor Rose MW Customers, you will be part of a wider reception team who handle all incoming calls for Taylor Rose MW both internal and external.

You will need strong telephony and communications skills.

able to think on your feet and assist all manner of enquiries as well as liaising with our fee earners across our 30 site offices.

This role is working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and offers 26 days holiday (Plus Bank Holidays).

This position is office based and we are unable to offer hybrid working due to the need of the role.

The communications team are responsible for answering all incoming telephone communications to the business. As the first point of contact for new queries, existing clients, and professionals both inside and outside the business.

The role of Call Centre Operative (in house known as Communications Support Operator) is to create an excellent and welcoming first impression of Taylor Rose MW through professional and high-quality customer service.


This role involves but is not limited to:

  • Operating switchboard to ensure that clients are transferred correctly and efficiently.
  • Typing messages during calls, to ensure delivery of communication in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of the business structure and services offered.
  • Using multiple database systems to search for relevant information
  • Providing an excellent and professional customer service to all callers.

On occasion providing support to our Document Control Department by welcoming clients into reception, this will include:

  • Accepting client documentation and certifying ID documents
  • Providing refreshments for clients and meetings
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Covering holidays and sickness of team members and other operational departments such as Document Control.

  • A professional, flexible and reliable attitude and approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to answer a high level of telephone calls on a daily basis, with targets in place.
  • Customer focus with a proactive "can do" attitude and eagerness to be helpful on every call.
  • Strong communication skills & ability to communicate at all levels and across all departments
  • Able to work within a team as well as independently
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, strong work ethic and ability to prioritise and problem solve.
