Retail Group based on the outskirts of Chichester, West Sussex, has an opportunity for Management Accountant to undertake a newly created role as a result of a period of growth and expansion.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will involve:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all revenue transactions at the relevant retail sites;
Monthly reconciliations of all relevant balance sheet accounts, including Accounts receivable and Deferred Income;
Work with the IT team to understand the various payment platforms relating to various income streams;
Support the business in the newly rolled out revenue-related systems and play an active role in providing input to the project team and in testing the system after roll-out;
Provide ad hoc revenue-related analysis and support to the wider finance team;
Support the year end audit process in terms of the provision of information relating to audit requests.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
Applicants for the position will have previous experience of working in either a Management or Financial Accountant role ideally within a retail environment although candidates looking to make their first move out of practice will also be considered;
The client will consider both fully and part-qualified candidates and will offer study support to the latter id required;
Excellent communication skills will be required to undertake the role effectively as the position will involve extensive collaboration with non-finance stakeholders throughout the business.

The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis with the successful candidate expected to attend the office 3 days a week.
