Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting processes, implementing and maintaining duties and controls, conducting monthly close and financial reporting, performing reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing presentations and journal reports, and assisting with inventory counts and conducting resulting analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Implement and maintain duties and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly close and financial reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare presentations and journal reports to communicate financial information to stakeholders.
- Assist with inventory counts and conduct resulting analysis to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or studying AAT, CIMA or ACCA.
- Accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent mathematical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in software systems such as Sage, Xero and Excel.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £35-40,000, depending on experience.
