We are looking for a Process Improvement expert based in London, United Kingdom, to lead enhancements and optimizations within the Amazon Grocery Logistics division.

This role will involve collaborating closely with grocery fulfillment centers and third-party grocery vendors partnering with Amazon Flex.

The ideal candidate will engage with various functions across the company such as technology, compliance, operations, and customer service to ensure top-notch experiences for both customers and delivery partners.

Amazon Flex operates in conjunction with independent contractors, known as delivery partners, who deliver packages to customers. Through Amazon Flex, individuals have the opportunity to manage their own deliveries and schedules.

The system relies on a mobile app and advanced logistics technology to help delivery partners onboard, schedule deliveries, navigate routes, and more.

This innovative approach and technology aim to revolutionize conventional methods and redefine industry standards.


In this role, you will drive the implementation of new initiatives and process enhancements to elevate customer satisfaction, delivery partner experience, and operational efficiency in our logistics networks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee critical business metrics including quality, delivery partner experience, and operational costs.
  • Develop and execute new initiatives and strategies to expand operations across the UK network.
  • Foster collaboration among diverse teams to achieve metric improvements through joint projects and objectives.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to introduce new features within the UK network.


A Day in the Life:

Utilize data daily to identify and address issues affecting delivery partners and customers. Based on this data, present identified problems and propose scalable solutions to leadership.

Regularly visit operational sites to become a subject matter expert for partner teams. Approximately 10-20% of the role will involve travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A relevant degree
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Hands-on experience in program or project management
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience in effectively communicating with various stakeholders, including peers and leaders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Business Analytics and SQL
  • Proficiency in developing standard work, performance metrics, and process enhancement
  • Strong data analysis skills
