Role:

The Retail Trainer will be responsible for providing training at all Sarah Chapman retail locations in the UK and Ireland for the Skinesis product range.

They will play a crucial role in establishing Sarah Chapman as a leading authority in luxury skincare and the preferred brand for skincare solutions.


The Retail Trainer will report directly to the Senior Commercial Manager and collaborate with the Sales Team to enhance store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 80% of the time dedicated to in-store training activities, including on the shop floor and in classroom settings.
  • 20% allocated for sales efforts on the shop floor and hosting events.

The role involves working closely with retail partners' sales and events teams to provide support, conduct selling days, and boost sales.

Frequent travel to partner retail stores is required, with occasional overnight stays for extended journeys.


The Retail Trainer will contribute to retail sales support, motivate sales teams, promote new product launches, and assist in organizing events to drive sales while maintaining brand standards.


Overall Structure:

Allocate 20% of time to event organization, booking retail training sessions, and supporting key retail partners' selling days.

Engage in daily training activities across partner stores like Space NK, Harrods, JLP, and Selfridges.


Training Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-store brand training sessions, focusing on new products and initiatives.
  • Set performance incentives for store teams to boost sales post-training.
  • Monitor completion of online education modules by the beauty teams in-store.
  • Create and share training videos to support education programs for retailer teams.

Development:

  • Receive training on the Sarah Chapman Retail Facial for in-store events and sales opportunities.
  • Stay updated on product training, especially for new launches, led by the Head of Global Education.

Building Relationships:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Lead by example and foster enthusiasm for the brand and products within the store teams.
  • Establish connections with competitors' brand ambassadors.
  • Keep the line manager informed about store activities and updates.

Professional Image:
  • Maintain a luxurious and brand-appropriate appearance reflecting the Sarah Chapman image.
  • Adhere to dress codes at retail partner locations and events.
  • Wear suits or uniforms in line with the brand's color scheme.
  • Ensure that attire is smart, flattering, and well-maintained.
