With our business expanding, we're looking for a Senior Manager to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Network Capacity Delivery.

The Senior Manager of Infrastructure Delivery - Network and Data Center will lead a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for network and data center capacity builds to support the growth of Oracle Cloud infrastructure. The perfect candidate can handle swift delivery pace, utilizing their established leadership and program management skills.

This is a significant role that will guide a highly motivated team through the necessary lifecycle to successfully deliver the next generation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Our team ensures timely, budget-friendly, and on-schedule delivery, including facility tenant improvements, data hall construction, network enhancements, and data center fit-out until general availability.

Some key team responsibilities include financial tracking, bid analysis, contract negotiations, contract awards, procurement and materials tracking, as well as overseeing on-site construction/fitting work.

The ideal candidate shows the ability to delve deeply into network and infrastructure build issues, manage construction management and delivery, inspire and nurture a dispersed team, demonstrate system-level thinking, drive process enhancements, and support their team throughout the project's lifecycle.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Managing a diverse team of Technical Program Managers; providing coaching, mentoring, and leadership opportunities for career advancement
  • Offering program and project management expertise for complex regional business initiatives, understanding dependencies and considering complexity relative to scope, schedule, and budgets
  • Forming partnerships with vendors and distributors, identifying ways to enhance purchasing and delivery timelines
  • Developing relationships and collaborating globally with stakeholders and partners to achieve organizational outcomes, ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance
  • Seeking opportunities to continuously improve and simplify business operational procedures and practices to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Tracking and managing priorities and committed actions to drive progress and offer actionable insights
  • Traveling up to 25% to support data center constructions

What You'll Contribute:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent technical experience
  • At least 5 years of direct management, mentoring, and team leadership experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of external vendor management, stakeholder relationship management, and delivery of complex technology projects
  • Experience with different data center construction scenarios, infrastructure builds, and network enhancements
  • Familiarity with best practices and evolving technologies related to infrastructure (e.g., network, data center, hardware, mechanical and electrical systems)
  • Ability to instill confidence in executive leaders and motivate team members
  • Demonstrated experience in leading through uncertainty; a track record of implementing solutions that enhance delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, including high-quality written communication and simplifying complex information
  • Outstanding collaboration skills across groups and a proven ability to partner with various teams
  • Program/project management certifications or qualifications with a demonstrated ability to deliver complex programs
