Resettlement Advisor - Doncaster

Job type - Part time, FTC until 31/03/2024

Salary - £23,241 per annum

Hours - 20 hours per week

Location - HMP & YOI - Doncaster

Who are we looking for?


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resettlement Advisor to join us working in the departure lounge at HMP Doncaster.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • To support all prison releases leaving HMP Doncaster with accommodation and FBD requirements.
  • Promote the service and liaise with other partnerships.
  • Liaise with other organisations to collate provisions for the Departure Lounge.
  • To collate data and utilise recording tools to evidence performance.
  • Build relationships with the prison and other professionals.
  • Familiar with the Reducing Reoffending Pathways and have specific experience of providing information, advice and guidance to offenders.
  • Experienced working within a custodial environment.
  • Experienced of achieving and evidencing outcomes against performance targets.
  • Experienced of developing rapport with Service Users whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Experienced of using case management or custody Information Systems.
  • Aware and understands of resettlement and the criminal justice system.
A DBS check & Prison clearance vetting will be required for this role.

£25,227.00 per year
