The postholder will be providing a client centred service that includes engagement, assessment, action planning, employability skills to support pathways into employment for refugees and Afghan citizens.


  • To work in partnership with local statutory & voluntary sector agencies and businesses to coordinate and develop effective employment pathways

Essential Requirements
Knowledge

  • Understanding of the needs of refugees
  • Understanding of the barriers that unemployed people can face which prevent them from returning to the workplace

Skills:

  • Ability to be positive, enthuse and motivate others to meet goals and targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an ability to work with a wide variety of people, such as residents, politicians, senior managers and operational staff
  • Ability to demonstrate project management skills.
