Are you an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in civils within the rail industry? We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Civils Biased Rail Construction Manager to join our client's team at a leading rail subcontractor based in Southend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all civil construction activities for rail projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Coordinate and supervise site operations, including subcontractors and site personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues impacting project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager with a strong focus on civils within the rail sector.
- In-depth knowledge of rail infrastructure construction and civil engineering practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CEng) is desirable
