Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager - Water Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at J Browne Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing water-related construction projects from site setup to handover, ensuring safe delivery, completion within program, and managing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with design teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Formulate and implement procurement strategies to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor project activities and performance to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare monthly client progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Record all changes to client requirements and scope of services.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and right-first-time delivery of contract requirements.
  • Resource works appropriately to meet project demands.
  • Promote and enforce the company's Health & Safety Policy and Procedure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and local authorities.
  • Produce and manage contract programs to ensure project success.
  • Provide bid support at tender stage to secure new projects.
  • Represent the company at various meetings to promote our services.
  • Process contract Quality and H&S documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with commercial aspects and monitor contract costs to ensure financial stability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to lead project management commissions and act as key client interface to ensure objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing and delivering drainage and/or potable water projects.
  • Qualification in Engineering allied subject to HND or degree status.
  • CSCS certification.
  • IOSH Managing safely or equivalent certification.
