We are looking for a outgoing and chatty person to join our team as a receptionist, here at Pups & Pals Dog Grooming.


The mains duties are:

  • Being responsible for customer enquiries via Facebook, phone calls or texting
  • Booking in customers for services
  • Cash handling
  • Keeping our shop from looking clean, tidy and presentable
  • Assisting other staff where necessary
  • Upselling of services or retail products

Essential requirements:

  • Be a dog lover
  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Be organised
  • Be confident around all shapes and sizes of dogs
  • Have a outgoing personality
  • Be able to work alone effectively and within a team
  • Be computer savvy.

Desirable but not essential traits:

  • Already have some knowledge of social media.
  • Have some knowledge of photoshop (training will be provided).

Pay:
Meets national minimum wage and tips are shared equally between staff members.

Hours:
Hours to be discussed, working 16 hours over 4/5 days

Over time is available during busy periods.
