Are you our next Retail Content Lead? We're looking for someone who can play a pivotal part in bringing Gymshark to life and helping to maintain the vibe that our family feel online.

You are the gatekeeper for exciting, innovative and disruptive content. You'll help to build and connect a hyper-localised and fully engaged community in market, treating them like family. We don't care if they buy, browse, or just hang out. What matters is providing a safe space where everyone belongs and feels welcome.

You must drive our omni channel presence and branding through our in store content, whilst maintaining the integrity of the brand message, always from an inclusive and welcoming position.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Driving collaboration across multiple departments in our Headquarters and our Retail Team to ensure key timelines and requirements are captured and executed.
  • Producing and preparing content to be displayed in all formats, including digital and printed, within our Flagship store.
  • Developing a content calendar for the retail channel to capture, plan and support all upcoming content needs.
  • Working alongside other Marketing channels to collaborate and align on ongoing activity and performance.
  • Following the latest best practices for campaign structures and media planning.
  • Attending regular meetings regarding the commercial actions of the store, including trade opportunities, new product and events to ensure the content displayed in store supports agreed direction.
  • Producing clear and concise asset briefs for the retail channel giving timely feedback as needed to ensure language and messaging is inclusive and appropriate for the community.
  • Working to specific deadlines, planning and ensuring all lead and production timelines are managed ahead of launch dates.
  • Staying connected and informed about marketing strategies, with particular focus on product and storytelling to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Liaise regularly with our creative teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging is showing up in line with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring great working connections are established to build a consistent working pattern.
  • Ensure the retail environment is a consistent consideration for campaigns, and how the digital content translates and impacts into the physical with customer journey always front of mind.
  • Maintaining the brand and tone of voice, always inclusive and driving a positive message to the community.
  • Confidently editing and proofreading as needed prior to any content being displayed in a public environment.
  • Working within regulated and required compliance standards for all produced assets.
  • Developing content strategies for retail, capturing and mapping out ideas and requirement.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of common resolutions, video codecs, video and image type
  • To have worked in or alongside Creative Teams with experience of writing briefs for a variety of assets
  • Preferred experience of PMS software and history of creating briefs
  • Meticulous eye for detail, and exceptionally high standards in all areas of content creation
  • Exceptional time management, able to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Understanding the requirements of different asset types, be that physical or digital
  • Proven experience of working with content management systems and different formats of digital content
  • An understanding of how to communicate with an audience and how content is received
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • Strong conceptual thinking to drive creative activations
  • Highly effective communicator, written and verbal
  • Able to receive and deliver live, constructive feedback
  • Comfortable shifting gears and spinning multiple plates, and work well under pressure
  • Demonstrate a creative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • A passion for all things digital and a desire to test new tactics and keep up to date with industry changes

WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:

  • Previous usage of Notion Software
  • Experience using CMS or DAM systems
  • Understanding of retail product presentation and window displays impact customer journey
  • Commercial background and experience of a unified commerce business

NEED TO KNOW:

  • This role is part of our Go to Market Team (GTM) Retail Team, reporting to our GTM Lead
  • Contract is 40 hours, predominantly Monday
  • Friday, with flexibility as required based on instore activity, such as events and campaign launches.
  • The role may require travel up to our HQ In Solihull Birmingham. Expenses will be covered.
