Our dispensing team are at the heart of our operations, being responsible for dispensing over 1500 prescriptions per day to our patients.

Offering opportunities to our employees for professional development in becoming a qualified Level 2 Dispenser and beyond

Main Responsibilities:

  • To follow and promote relevant SOPs and Company policy and procedure to ensure patient safety at all times.
  • To accurately and efficiently pack patient orders for dispatch.
  • To accurately and efficiently create patient administration kits.
  • To accurately check off, book in and put away stock deliveries.
  • To support the dispensing and stock teams as may be required from time to time.
  • To maintain documentation filing systems within the department.
  • To work collaboratively with other members of the dispensing team to ensure efficient and safe running of the dispensary
  • To read and comply with all communications from head office and others to ensure necessary actions are undertaken for the pharmacy and customers.
  • To maintain good housekeeping.
  • To carry out any reasonable request given by appropriate persons.
  • To contribute to HealthNet's commitment to continuous improvement by forwarding your suggestions to appropriate persons.
  • To proactively support the HealthNet Operation by helping in other departments which may be busier than your own at a particular time.
  • To travel between depots, therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential.
