QC Inspector - Goods Inwards

Job title:
QC Inspector - Goods Inwards

Location:
Cowes - Isle of Wight

Salary:
Up to £30,000 Dependent on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Undertake routine QC Inspection activities with some supervision.
  • Carry out Goods Inwards inspection of supplied parts against Engineering Drawings and Specifications
  • Release parts into stock in a timely manner
  • Raising Quality issues and Non-Conformances when they arise in a prompt and timely manner
  • Carry out stock checks as and when required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Have a detailed knowledge in all aspects of QC Inspection
  • Have a detailed knowledge of the Defence Industry and ISO9001/EN9100 standards and have a detailed understanding of manufacturing standards such as ANSI J/IPC or similar
  • Good understanding of own discipline within Quality and a limited understanding of other disciplines
  • Good understanding of Engineering Drawings


 Dimensional Inspection
  • Certificate or Training evidence of good use of Manual measuring equipment

Desirable:

  • Experience with SAP systems an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
