Legal Administrator

Salary: circa £25, hours p/w)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Administrator in the UK GI and Health team within Aviva's UK legal function.

A bit about the job:

You will be joining a committed and collaborative team based primarily in Norwich. This is a lively and strategically important team which delivers first class legal advice and handles diverse client relationships across the entire UK GI and Health businesses and is part of the overall Aviva Plc legal function

Your role will be to provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the team including but not limited to; maintaining document management systems – such as uploading documents and, making sure entries are accurate; sending monthly retention documents; providing assistance with purchase orders; managing expenses and paying invoices; travel and room bookings; arranging meetings, and event organisation; ordering stationary; managing miscellaneous post; providing data migration support and general support with Microsoft systems – such as converting documents, PowerPoint presentation improvements, and taking meeting notes.

Previous Legal Administration experience would be beneficial but is not essential to your success in the role.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

Computer literate with a good knowledge of computer software and systems, primarily Microsoft Office Effective at planning, prioritisation, time management, organisation of own workload and priorities, along with relationship management skills and being comfortable communicating with varying levels of internal and external collaborators Excellent attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving related to own workload with additional support and expertise where required Knows when to escalate and seek support from more senior team members or use network accordingly Ensures the safe keeping of confidential information, displaying discretion when dealing with matters of confidence, ensuring the correct distribution, storage and destruction of confidential information and documents
