PK Fabrications Ltd are a structural steelwork manufacturer based in Scunthorpe, we are looking for a working workshop foreman/forewoman to manage our small team of platers and welders.

The responsibilities include

  • Monitor and track projects and deliveries.
Report to management on a day-to-day basis.

Ensure individuals are kept informed of their responsibilities by regular instruction and effective communication, such as Toolbox Talks.

Provide support on a technical level to the workshop team.


Ensure the adoption of safe working procedures and providing a safe place of work, adhering to Health and Safety legislation.

Have a proven leadership and ability to drive & motive staff.

Build a strong working relationship within the organisation.

Have a strong ability to organise the workshop and workshop team.

Have good judgement and decision-making skills.

Must be able to follow and understand up to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 3.

Must be able to read, understand and work to fabrication drawings and inspect/check platers fabrication work.

Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop & yard.

Management of consumables.

Keyholding for our workshop & yard.

Requirements include

  • Must have a full driving licence.
Must have a minimum of 6 years plating experience within a fabrication workshop.

Working 8-hour days, 5 days a week 7.30am-4.00pm with overtime as and when required by the Company.
