KS1 experience to work in a
Primary setting within our
Sandwellschools for
after February half-term.

We are looking for a confident, proactive individual whom is happy to work a long side the class teacher, as well as working on your own conducting some 1:1 and small group work if and when required.

You will be required to take out small groups and support them with phonics. So curriculum knowledge is key

  • Adaptability from one student to the next and an understanding of their needs
  • A can do attitude and caring nature
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Good curriculum knowledge and understanding of phonics
  • Happy to work on your own as well as alongside the class teacher

**Requirements

  • Have previous experience working with primaryaged children.
  • Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
