We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and skilled Advanced Clinical Lead to join our team. Cambridge Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team provides 24/7 care to service users experiencing an acute mental health crisis as an alternative to hospital admission. The team is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists (HTAS) and has a strong focus on delivering high quality care to service users and their friends and family.

The post offers the opportunity to work intensively with service users in crisis, undertaking assessments in the community and developing care plans as part of a multi disciplinary team. You will be responsible for leading care and treatment interventions and supervising junior staff in the delivery of care. The team is embedded within an integrated acute care pathway and works closely with inpatient wards and The First Response Service to deliver seamless care.

There is the opportunity for professional development in areas such as Non-Medical Prescribing and AMHP training and leadership roles.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work within the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team which provides a mental health service seven day a week, 24 hour a day within a community setting. The Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team provide an emergency response and/or psychosocial assessment in order to identify those who present with a range of mental health problems and who are in crisis. Referral agencies include, Liaison Psychiatry, First Response Service and our adult mental health services.

Job responsibilities

To deliver on-going specialist assessments of adult service users referred to, and under the care of the CRHTT. To establish and deliver clinical supervision group and individual to the CRHT practitioners in line with current good practice and with the Trusts supervision policy. To develop formulations of presenting problems or situations that integrates information from assessments alongside other team members. To be responsible for implementing a range of interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups. To provide specialist professional advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to service users formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan. To undertake risk assessment and risk management for service users within CRHTT working within Trust and inter-agency policies and procedures, including work with service users deemed as vulnerable adults. To act as lead clinician for undertaking assessments and advising service users other mental health professionals in matters arising from the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults framework.

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot usepublic transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Desirable

Experience of working within a CRHTT Experience of working with wider stakeholder groups , Care Pathway Teams, independent sector agencies Qualification or significant experience using CBT, DBT, MBT or CAT with service users Experience of working within an acute inpatient service Experience or working within an adult community mental health service
