Full time 37.5 hours a week (Mon-Fri)
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 respiratory physiotherapist to join our team at CWPT.
We provide specialist Respiratory Physiotherapy assessment and intervention to a caseload of children and young people (CYP) aged 0-19 years with respiratory complications of whom many have complex physical disabilities. There are opportunities to work in a variety of settings including special schools, mainstream schools, respite, hospitals, family home and hospices.
We are a supportive team providing regular clinical and management supervision, IST's and journal clubs. CWPT support external CPD opportunities related to your role.
You will be required to work autonomously and alongside other Allied Health Professionals, Consultants, Community Paediatricians, Community Children's Nurses, education staff and social services to deliver a high standard of care for CYP in Coventry.

This includes regular in-service training and shared learning across the team. Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day. - Physiotherapy degree or equivalent
- Registration with Health Professions Council
- Excellent written communication
- Excellent IT Skills
- Post graduate training relevant to client group.
- Transferable skills as a qualified physiotherapist
- Clinical respiratory physiotherapy experience with transferable skills to a paediatric caseload
- Car driver/owner (It is unlikely that public transport will meet this requirement)
