Summary
This is a varied and exciting role in the Estates and Campus Services department. This role is spread between the main Estates team, including Projects and Health and Safety, and Housekeeping.

You will be a crucial part of the smooth running of the department, including placing orders, assisting in project work, and day-to-day office administration for the team.

You will also need to cover main reception or the post room when needed.

This role reports directly to the Director of Estates and Campus Services, whilst also working alongside different areas of the University, such as Accommodation, Sport St Mary's, and HR.

There is great opportunity for training, and to develop your skills.

**Working Hours: 08:00 to 16:00

Job Details

  • Arranging meetings and carrying out sundry duties for the Director of Estates and Campus services as required including note taking.
  • Assisting the smoothrunning of Cleaning and Campus Services.
  • Provide operational consistency and efficiency through record keeping methods.
  • Order and check cleaning materials for Housekeeping.
  • Responsible for prioritising and coordination of the work load assigned to the Campus Services assistants.
  • To assist in conducting audits and inspections across the department as required and keeping a record of completion and review dates.
  • Previous experience of working in housekeeping areas is desirable, but not essential.

Estates and Campus Services comprises security, reception, postal services, housekeeping, grounds, catering, maintenance, timetabling services, estates strategy, and major estates projects including planned maintenance and space management.
