The Support Worker will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients in the residential services.

The focus of the residential services is to provide treatment for patients with chronic mental illness, complex behaviour, personality disorder,and substance issues.

The goal is to provide a step down for patients who are ready to move on to more independent living as part of their rehabilitation program.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to patients in their daily living activities
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients in a caring and compassionate manner
  • Facilitate patient engagement in rehabilitation and recovery programs
  • Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the appropriate parties
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of patient care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a UK support worker role, preferably in the mental health sector
  • A compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and take direction from senior staff
  • Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required
