Maintenance Assistant - Exciting Opportunity in York

Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will be stationed at a static site in Lancaster with multiple buildings within the estate. Your daily tasks will include:

  • General building maintenance
  • Repairing leaks and lighting issues
  • Installing shelving and fixing doors
  • Conducting painting tasks
  • Re-bedding copping stones
  • Replacing and repairing slabs
  • Repairing and replacing fences
  • Jet washing pathways and buildings
  • Clearing gullies
  • Performing external painting
  • Assisting with general gardening duties when necessary

Your Profile

  • You will work independently under the guidance of the maintenance supervisor, taking ownership of your workload
  • Being versatile is key as the role involves a variety of maintenance tasks
  • Customer satisfaction is paramount, and a willingness to exceed expectations is essential
  • Prior experience in tasks listed is required, either on-site or with maintenance firms
  • Your extensive experience will be utilized to deliver work of a superior standard
